Historic Cairo has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. It more than 600 historic structures, which require extensive studies to sustain their cultural, religious, and economic values. The main aim of this paper is undertake dynamic investigation tests for the dome Fatima Khatun, mausoleum in dating back 13th century consisting mainly bricks stones. challenge was that structure difficult access, only small portion top accessible attachment accelerometers. Current identification procedures typically adopt methods sensors are arranged at optimal locations permit direct assessment natural frequencies, mode shapes, damping ratios structure. Approaches allow evaluation response structures with limited accessibility lacking. To end, addition situ tests, numerical model created based on available architectural, structural, material documentation obtain detailed insight into dominant modes vibration. free vibration analysis identified properties using reasonable assumptions boundary conditions.
